Dear participants of the 5th Conference "Terahertz and microwave radiation: generation, detection and applications” (TERA-2023)”.

Based on the materials of the conference, it is planned to publish special issues of the journals “Journal of Optical Technology” and “Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics ".

Original scientific articles as well as scientific reviews are accepted. The authors of the articles independently determine to which special issue to send the article in accordance with the subject of the study. Approximate division of the two special issues by subject:
"Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics” — fundamental problems of physics terahertz radiation, applications in vacuum electronics, biophysics, etc. according to sections 3-6 and 8 of the TERA-2023 program;
"Journal of Optical Technology" - solid-state aspects of the physics of terahertz radiation and various applications in spectroscopy, optoelectronics, etc. according to sections 1, 2, 7, 9 and 10 of the TERA-2023 program.

Until March 31, 2023, we ask authors to fill out an online questionnaire (the link will be later) with confirmation of the title of the article and authors and notify the editors by e-mail. Until April 30, 2023, please prepare and send manuscripts to the appropriate journal in accordance with the rules.

Special issue of the Journal of Optical Technology

The results of the conference will be published in the special issue of the Optical Journal, which will be released in autumn 2023.

Translation of the journal into English publishes Optica Publishing Group. The journal is indexed by Web of Science and Scopus.

Special issue of the journal “Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics»

As a result of the conference, a special issue of the journal Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics, which will be released in autumn 2023. Original scientific articles are accepted, as well as scientific mini-reviews.

The English version of the journal called "Radiophysics and Quantum Electronics" has been published since 1965 by Springer. The journal is indexed by Web of Science and Scopus. According to Web of Science, the international impact factor of the journal in 2022 is 1.078.

Before March 31, 2023, confirmation of the title of the article and authors must be sent to: 1) the person responsible for the special issue, 2) to the address of the editorial office radiophysics@unn.ru
